Actor Lennie Geer was known for his roles on the silver screen. Geer's earliest roles were in film, including the adventure "The Great Locomotive Chase" (1956) with Fess Parker, the Joel McCrea western "The Tall Stranger" (1957) and the Gregg Palmer thriller "Zombies of Mora-Tau" (1957). He also appeared in "Gang War" (1958), the adaptation "Shoot Out at Big Sag" (1962) with Walter Brennan and the horror film "Billy the Kid vs. Dracula" (1966) with Chuck Courtney. His passion for acting continued to his roles in projects like "Big Daddy" (1969) with Victor Buono, "FM" (1978) and the Dyan Cannon adventurous drama "Coast to Coast" (1980). He also appeared in the comedy "Hero at Large" (1980) with John Ritter. He also starred in the TV movies "All God's Children" (ABC, 1979-1980) and "Mind Over Murder" (CBS, 1979-1980). Film continued to be his passion as he played roles in the action movie "The Sword and the Sorcerer" (1982) with Lee Horsley, the Gena Rowlands dramatic adaptation "Love Streams" (1984) and "Big Trouble" (1985). He also appeared in "Stick" (1985) with Burt Reynolds. Geer more recently appeared in "The Thanksgiving Promise" (ABC, 1986-87). Geer passed away in January 1989 at the age of 75.
