The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo (2011) Alex Sandell David Fincher never lets his movie devolve into a petty revenge fantasy. The filmmaker clearly got the novel and, consequently, gets the most out of the novel. Girl with the Dragon Tattoo is just what the fans were demanding.
