01/05/2016 I'm giving this half a star because it displays autism as a nightmare worse than death, and show a child having her mother (Executive Vice President for Autism Speaks at the time) say in front of her that she would have killed her autistic and herself if it wasn't for her normal child at around 6 minutes. Please look into Autism Speaks criticism before donating to them. They talk about us without us, and there are many other horrendous thing which they advocate for as an organization that using fear mongering for fundraising. They also push for us to be literally registered and exterminated (prenatally) thereby encouraging lawmakers to think that given a prenatal test (they fund this), mothers being required to have late abortions (post 26 week) of any children with autism as being debatable, but quite possibly acceptable. They are horrendous, and actively protested at their walks by actual autistic people. See more Read all reviews
