In the late 1950s and early '60s, artist Walter Keane achieves unbelievable fame and success with portraits of saucer-eyed waifs. However, no one realizes that his wife, Margaret, is the real painter behind the brush. Although Margaret is horrified to learn that Walter is passing off her work as his own, she is too meek to protest too loudly. It isn't until the Keanes' marriage comes to an end and a lawsuit follows that the truth finally comes to light.

Filme fraco, o roteiro é fraco, as cenas são fracas, a história é fraca, o elenco é fraco, e ninguém ajuda a melhorar o filme, os personagens são fracos, e o filme deveria ter cenas bem melhores e relevantes, para fazer o filme ser bom

Big Eyes (2014) The True Artist (11,971 – 07 Oct 2025 – by Claudio Carvalho) In the 50’s, Margaret (Amy Adams) leaves her husband and heads to San Francisco with her daughter Jane. She meets her friend Dee-Ann (Krysten Ritter) and looks for a job. But she makes some money selling and making paintings with big eyes. While exposing her paintings on the street, she knows the painter Walter Keane (Christoph Waltz), who sells his paintings from France. Soon they get married and Walter, who is good in self-marketing, sells her paintings as if they were his. Margaret accepts the situation until the day she learns that he has never painted and threatens her. “Big Eyes” (2014) is a totally different movie by Tim Burton. Based on true event, the film retells the interesting story of the painter Margaret Keane, wgi had bug eyes of children as trademark. When she had a problem in her ear when she was a child, Margaret saw the importance of the eyes and highlighted this importance painting big eyes in children. The film shows her husband Walter Keabe as an opportunist. The acting of Amy Adams and Christoph Waltz are top-notch. My vote is eight.
