Dark Crimes mostra Jim Carrey em um dos papéis mais sombrios e contidos da carreira. Aqui, ele abandona completamente a comédia e interpreta um detetive obcecado por um caso brutal, com atuação seca, introspectiva e quase sem expressão. Em poucas palavras: pesado, frio e desconfortável — um thriller que aposta mais no clima de tensão psicológica do que em ação.

Remarkable way to tell a tale. The movie used facial art. Blended with dialoge delivered through facial expressions that left me at awe. A startling ending was as a nich touch to a very entertaning film.
