Audience Reviews for I'm Going to Tell You a Secret

I'm Going To Tell You A Secret is the amazing (somewhat) sequel to the 1991 documentary "Truth or Dare". Both movies show an amazing insight to the life of Madonna, her kids, and her husband. The beautifully presented documentary is inter-cut with high-quality video of her live stage performances during her 2004 mega-grossing "Re-Invention Tour". Though not particularly as innovative or shocking as it's 1991 counterpart, IGTYS is the perfect movie for any Madonna fan looking for an inside-view at Madonna's show behind the stage. And the DVD is also packed full of hilarious bonus-features for those who didn't get enough from the movie. Flashy effects, High-Quality video, an exclusive backstage pass, and the mega-star Madonna make this movie a must-have for die-hard Madonna fans, and is also Madonna's best acting since Desperately Seeking Susan!

This is a great behind the scenes doc of Madonna's Reinvention Tour. Filled with some fabulous performances and great directing from Jonas Ackerlund. First let me say that the (click here)NOBODY KNOWS ME scene is sooooooo awesome. My heart nearly jumped out of my chest. This is somewhat like Truth Or Dare but much more mature. Like Madonna herself her music has evolved into this near flawless spectrum. There are mentions of Kabballah and the film loses some credit due to its whole ending. The last 10 minutes seem to have nothing to do with the rest of the film. I guess her secrets are not as interesting as one might think. Still this is my second favorite concert documentary. The first being of course Truth or Dare. The most fascinating segments are the ones that include her home life. Her children are beautiful. It is amazing how much Lourdes looks like Madonna. While Rocco is very funny in his scenes. I am sure Lourdes will be a star in her own right. Guy makes some appearances to. You know I would have never thought Madonna would have picked someone like him as a mate. Do not get me wrong he is beautiful. I just thought it would have been a more ethnic choice coming from her previous experiences. I am glad this was her choice because they seem to get a long well. For now anyway!! NOBODY KNOWS ME

Part Documentary - Part Concert film, I'm Going To Tell You A Secret is Madonna's Truth or Dare Part 2. See how Motherhood, marriage & 23 years of super stardom have changed the woman we know as Madonna.
