Throw a good deed in the river, and it will come back to you in the desert. I hadn’t heard about it but watched it on TV this weekend and it captured my attention. Continuing after Braveheart but definitely different. Still worth a watch! See more Duncan F @RT07708973 01/02/2025 I usually love historic Scottish/medieval dramas, but this slow moving, obviously low budget affair is tiresome as it spends most of the movie time, wallowing on the care the main character experiences from a poor rural family (and beautiful young lady) before he musters an army to take back Scotland. That is, you never see the big event, get a full scope of what the historic battle meant for Scotland or details of how it happens. Disappointing waste of an evening.
