Sing 2 exists to make audiences happy with its candy-colored visuals and toe-tapping soundtrack. That shouldn't hide the fact that it's lazy.

Luckily, each character will once again have guaranteed opportunities to shine. [Full review in Spanish]

Sing 2 is glossy and probably quite expensive (what with all the music licensing and the big name voice cast) but it's almost completely devoid of character.

[Sing] was a success, and that is what Sing 2 repeats. [Full review in Spanish]

Sing 2 has a decent batting average when it comes to its sense of humor, which is supported by its multiple winning musical numbers.

There's probably no need for a third film, but audiences who are already fans of the first Sing will enjoy the music and animal laughs.

Sing 2 works because it elected to uphold it's story in an intelligent comedy that dares to enter the dark world of show business. [Full review in Spanish]

My favorite animated movie of the year. Just fun, melodious and entertaining.

I wouldn't be surprised if the film became a Rock of Ages for today's very young viewers over time. [Full review in Spanish]

The music is a collection of songs from the best talents today, and the animation is eye-popping with color with a lot of movement to keep little ones as well as parents engaged. As a sequel, Sing 2 is right on key.

The characters work well together.

I'll happily take the upgraded animation and narrative in Sing 2, even if it requires sacrificing some level of musical quality. It's superior to the original, which isn't something often said of sequels.

Goofy antics continue in this colourfully endearing sequel to the 2016 hit.

Children should appreciate the animal antics and the crisply colorful animation, but outside of a few inspired production numbers, this frenetic sequel feels more familiar than fresh.

It's simplistic and uplifting, and features one helluva soundtrack, and though more so aimed at children, it's harmless and charming enough to prove not a waste of time for the adults in tow.

A bright, colorful jukebox musical for kids lacking in any comic edge. Lavish CG animation but in service of a thinly-veiled, garishly updated rip-off of The Muppets.

Lavishly delightful and crazy funny! Glitzy visuals, Vegas stage productions, eye-popping colors, misadventures, humors, pop songs and musical numbers... You'll sing along, tap your foot, hoot and holler, and laugh so hard!
