Movie Info

Winnie the Pooh, Piglet, Owl, Kanga, Roo, Rabbit and the ever-exuberant Tigger are busy preparing a suitable winter home for dismal donkey Eeyore. Everyone is into the effort except Tigger who is too playful to work. When Rabbit suggests Tigger go find some other "tiggers" to cavort with--at first, Tigger thinks the notion absurd since he believes he's the only "tigger." But an amazing journey through the Hundred-Acre Wood brings surprises.

When it comes to Pooh stories, a shortage of ambition and reluctance to improve on success should be counted as assets.

In spite of its shortcomings, children love these characters and will enjoy Tigger.

Anybody who first saw Tigger and learned the wonderful things about him more than 20 years ago is going to feel great, as will the very young who have been raised on Pooh and Co., one of the few cartoons that avoids hostility and violence.

The dialogue is kid-level funny and the animation often has the manic energy of Alice in Wonderland.

Audience Reviews for The Tigger Movie

½

"The wonderful thing about tiggers...Is tiggers are wonderful things!" Disney brings Winnie the Pooh and company to the big screen in The Tigger Movie. While bouncing around the Hundred Acre Wood one day, Tigger begins to wonder if there are other tiggers out there and goes off on a search for his family tree. The animation is fairly crude, but it works since it's the established style of the Winnie the Pooh series. The musical numbers are entertaining, and the characters are a lot of fun. The Tigger Movie is a great family film that's tiggerific.

I love Winnie the Pooh, and a Tigger movie, how could I say no. It was my childhood, and this movie is always a time portal for me to my past.
