Brad Bird’s The Incredibles is both a fun superhero movie and a surprisingly tragic tale about how society deals with those who want to break convention. Go to Full Review

Brad Bird instils his characters with genuine personalities, emotions and values. The film's slightly overlong, but its sophistication, wit and skill more than compensate. Go to Full Review

K G @KatyG-S 17h Incredible. I love Brad Bird - he wrote for "The Simpsons" & was responsible for "The Iron Giant". No wonder these media's were well received. Maturing is realising that this movie is not a main focus on those superheroes saving the day. And, that is a good thing. Superheroes are used differently, where they can no longer be superheroes & maintain just normal identities, despite remaining superpowers. Next paragraph... The main fault is from Bob Parr/Mr Incredible, who just injured train passengers when trying to save people, although one did not. The most important part of its story is the conflict of being a family (I.E: Violet & Dash get concerned about theirparents marriage) & then some. I always liked Syndrome, like Sid Philips from "Toy Story" - I love that he was voiced by Jason Lee & his ironic villain origin story, which was his jealousy back when he was IncrediBoy. Enjoy this with its iconic moments, characters & funny moments which led to Internet memes. I was 10 years old when the movie came out. It's just awesome. But I can't believe we had to wait 14 years for a sequel. I'm looking forward for another one.
