Thomas (Dylan O'Brien), a teenager, arrives in a glade at the center of a giant labyrinth. Like the other youths dumped there before him, he has no memory of his previous life. Thomas quickly becomes part of the group and soon after demonstrates a unique perspective that scores him a promotion to Runner status -- those who patrol the always-changing maze to find an escape route. Together with Teresa (Kaya Scodelario), the only female, Thomas tries to convince his cohorts that he knows a way out.

Ultimately, Ball does what he can with rather weak material, and leaves us with an entertaining blockbuster that sets a good precedent and a bit of anticipation for the prospect of the inevitable sequel. [Full review in Spanish]

This movie starts out as confusing but ends up as a cinematic masterpiece. The way they introduce Thomas,s is great he's just a normal kid wanting to live a good life but we latter find out that he's the one who put people here. Overall it's a great movie watch it

I don't know how to feel about this movie. I love the aesthetic and the actors, like dylan o brian and thomas brodie but the story felt plain. It's like the rythme was too slow and fast at the same time. I'm going to watch the other movies to see if that feeling changed but so far i'm a bit disapointed

Never watched this till this week.. I assumed I would not like this, but it was so entertaining and fast paced, I watched all three inside of a weekend.

I believe this film was quite good, good storybuilding, though leaving many questions unanswered but, as i am watching this late I have all the movies available so I dont have that aspect to be annoyed about.

I have tried several times to get through this film. I can't get past the terrible acting. The character of Newt, makes my skin crawl. The premise and story are okay, but the dialogue is not.

Synopsis
