The natural lighting and grounded camera work give it a raw, honest feel, and made me really feel like I was there. The pacing is slow at points and the story can be a bit vague, but I felt like it did all come together for me. It’s not perfect, but it’s clearly made with care. The setting is gorgeous and stunts look very convincing, which is not something I was really expecting from a lower budget indie movie. If you're expecting A list quality across the board, this isn't a movie you should watch, but if you appreciate indie creators doing a lot with a little, it's definitely worth the watch.
