Movie Info

Trapped in an abandoned hospital by a wandering band of savage cannibals, a small group of survivors intent on repopulating a post-apocalyptic world must fight for their lives and the future of the human race. We've run out of gas, and now the civilized world is a fading memory. Still, there are some who would work to see society rebuilt. One such group has taken refuge in an empty hospital. Upon discovering a young girl who has somehow managed to survive an attack by a nomadic horde of cannibals known as Rovers, the frightened heirs of humanity are forced to defend themselves against a predator that knows precisely what they fear most. Now, as the Rovers methodically emerge from the wasteland to pick off their savory brethren one at a time, the remaining survivors must adapt the same hunting skills as the flesh-eating subhumans who stalk them if they hold out any true hope of saving the legacy of humankind from certain tragedy. ~ Jason Buchanan, Rovi

A group of survivors in a post apocalyptic, oiless future world, hideout in an abandoned hospital, whilst they are stalked and killed off, one-by-one, by a gang of cannibals. If this brief synopsis didn't give it away, this movie is going for a Dawn of the Dead meets Mad Max type of affair. While this is nowhere near as exceptional as those two films, this is still a pretty good exercise in genre filmmaking that has a good sense of atmosphere, decent analog gore effects, a good amount of action and small performances from Michael Madsen and Vinnie Jones. It is hampered by a fairly lazy story, some questionable dialouge and some bad acting, but these flaws shouldn't really prevent you from enjoying this. Yes, it leaves a lot to be desired, but it is also a reliable good time. Recommended for fans of Post-Apocalyptic / Horror / Thriller's.

(from the Afterdark Horrorfest 8 Movies to Die for) Post apocalyptic 2012 world. But this.. isn?t from Global warming or freezing, or most of what we?d think it would be. WE ran out of Gas!! (gee I guess that BP Oil spill must have done it? because ?they? said there was enough for another 40 years.) The food is limited (being EVERYTHING basically runs on gas to be made! While out and about. A group finds a girl bleeding & bruised. Takes her in & Victoria/Veronica (one of those) goes missing. Vinny Jones (from Midnight Meat train) or as I call him Mr. Intimidating (mm maybe I can pay him to freak out John lol now that I?d love) I won?t tell ya what goes on but people go missing etc. I?ll just call this the war of the foods! D Oh & if that chick ?NEON? looks familiar then you may have seen her in Supernatural as..Meg or in Bones or the movie Haven Her name is Rachel Miner check out her filmography
