Attempting to eliminate rival gangs, drugs and corruption at their facilities, chief jailers are enlisting members of the public to help; building on the tremendous success of previous undercover operations in Clark County, Ind., and Atlanta, "60 Days In" continues in Pinal County, Ariz., as law-abiding citizens live among the facility's general population for 60 days to help expose the root of the jail's many problems; filmed around the clock, A&E Network's hourlong docuseries provides a warts-and-all view of life behind bars, as the volunteers adapt to unfamiliar and terrifying surroundings.

The S @The_Stranger 05/24/2024 It’s almost surrreal how awful the production is on this show. First of all, they choose the absolute worst plants they can find. And then they act like they should be able to blend in without being spotted since being spotted could potentially cost them their lives. Secondly, HOW IS PRODUCTION NOT GIVING THESE PEOPLE A BACKGROUND/ARREST STORY AND COACHING THEM ON HOW TO RESPOND TO THE INEVITABLE QUESTIONS WHEN ANOTHER INMATES SUSPECT THEM? Honestly, the participants should sue the production company…choosing the softest people possible (then acting shocked and disappointed after they tap out after 3 days), not coaching them on how to answer questions about their arrest/record, etc. What the production company is doing isn’t just irresponsible, it’s downright criminal. This is the only season I’ve seen but again, just seemed like a skit it’s so poorly managed and handled. The concept is good, execution is criminally bad (no pun intended) Get some real participants, vet them, coach and train them for a week instead of just feeding them clueless fools to the sharks. The production company and head of production should be fired for just a complete lack of understanding and the ignorance involved. Every person who taps out is a direct reflection of how little the person in charge understands about the series they’re trying to create. So ironic. See more Meghan T 08/19/2023 This season may be the worst bit of TV I've ever seen. First, every one of the inmate plants is unlikeable and cringy. They are all awfully one-dimensional with a savior complex—completely naive and unaware of themselves. Nothing in this season goes beyond a predictable (and boring) surface-level summary. I honestly don't know what the point is. Not even the sheriff (?) woman in charge of the institution is likable. She doesn't open her mouth to talk and I don't know if I saw one bit of emotion from her. It was like she was reading from a bad script. I've watched all of the 60 Days In and none of them are anything like this. There are no stories or follow-through. There aren't even a lot of camera conversations. There is absolutely no point to this season. I wish I could get my time back. See more Read all reviews
