A masterclass on how to portray likable characters that do questionable things while still remaining morally centered. It has the goods and every right to be embraced come premiere time.

68 Whiskey exudes a rare mix of grit and humor as it treats life and death situations with a wry bravado.

While it doesn't quite match the darkly comic tonal resonance of "M*A*S*H," it does eventually settle into a groove that, if not groundbreaking, offers up a cast of colorful characters who will make you want to revisit them on a weekly basis.
