Episode 1 Aired Mar 30, 2023 The Spark Sparky autistic heroine Addie Darrow is full of hope and excitement about the new school year but, despite her sister Keedie's best attempts to prepare and protect her, she faces immediate challenges. Feeling overloaded, Addie ends up having a meltdown on a field trip into the woods after learning about the witch trials that took place in her village. She feels a deep connection with the women who were hunted down and persecuted just for being different. Details Episode 2 Aired Mar 30, 2023 Juniper Addie is invited to present her case for a witch memorial to Juniper town council and spends the day preparing her speech. At home, Nina offers to do Addie's hair and makeup for the meeting, and records a vlog for her channel about it, asking Addie on camera what it's like to be autistic. Addie enjoys being part of Nina's world, and heads for the village feeling pretty confident. Details Episode 3 Aired Mar 30, 2023 The Witch List Audrey comes over to apologise to Addie about missing the meeting. She finds Addie researching into Juniper's history of witches. She's made a map of the village with all the places where women accused of witchcraft lived, and has made a witch list. The girls set about going door to door to spread the word about Juniper's witches and trying to get people to light a candle. But they get a cold response from the village and receive a warning to drop their campaign from grumpy villager Miriam. Details Episode 4 Aired Mar 30, 2023 Sisters The sisters and Frank head to the city. Addie and Frank head to the University Library looking for information about what happened to Maggie. Meanwhile Nina and Keedie have fun shopping at a vintage store. In the past, Elinor is also planning a party as a means to prove that her family are fine, upstanding folk, and above the accusations of witchcraft. When Addie finds the census records she is devastated to learn that Elinor accused Maggie of witchcraft. This act of betrayal derails Addie. Details Episode 5 Aired Mar 30, 2023 Party It's the day of Nina and Keedie's birthday party and Addie has spent hours preparing the village hall. Her mind keeps turning to Maggie and Elinor in the 16th century, wondering how things could have gone so wrong for two sisters. Things go well, until Emily gatecrashes and Keedie experiences sensory overload in front of her new friends who don't realise that she is autistic. In 16th century Juniper, Elinor's party also ends badly when Maggie steps in to protect her friend Beth. Details Episode 6 Aired Mar 30, 2023 Nicest Village Addie decides to raise the funds for the memorial herself, and the girls set about making posters and flyers which they plan to hand out during the Nicest Village competition. The village council are determined to add to their three year winning streak and Mr Macintosh is keen to make sure they day goes perfectly. Meanwhile, Keedie is avoiding her new friends because she's worried they will treat her differently now that they know she's autistic. And Nina is avoiding Frank. Details Episode 7 Aired Mar 30, 2023 Sleepover With Miss Murphy now head of the council Addie and Audrey know they need to get in her good books if they want their memorial. They decide to join her drama club performance of Macbeth. To prepare for the play, Addie and Audrey plan Addie's first ever sleepover. Addie reads from the diary, explaining how Maggie and Sarah came up with a plan to steal the jail key and rescue Beth. But when Jenna points out the key was still in the jar, Addie realises that Maggie's plan must have failed. Details Episode 8 Aired Mar 30, 2023 Something Wicked It's the day of the school play and Addie and Audrey plan to do a brilliant performance then ask Miss Murphy about the witch memorial. The show is a brilliant success but when Emily hears Addie, Audrey and Jenna talking about her, her jealousy bubbles over and she takes revenge by destroying Addie's beloved diary. Emily taunts her and Addie is pushed to breaking point, stepping forward and pushing Emily to the floor just as Miss Murphy comes in. Details Episode 9 Aired Mar 30, 2023 Burnout Addie is temporarily suspended, and Keedie is in burnout, exhausted by the showdown with Miss Murphy and what she feels was her failure to protect Addie. Nina feels more on the outside than ever and is grateful to Frank for distracting her. Addie and Keedie head for a rural spot where Keedie once planned to do a leap like the Red Coat during the Battle of Killiecrankie. Keedie starts to feel better, feeling strong enough to share the truth about what really happened between her and Miss Murphy. Details Episode 10 Aired Mar 30, 2023 The Way I Am Addie and her parents head to the school for a meeting to decide whether Addie will be permanently excluded. Nina and Keedie decide to come too, hoping to be able to stand up to Miss Murphy. Meanwhile, Audrey and Frank have found out the truth about what happened to Maggie. When Jenna arrives at the school and hands over the diary page that Emily wrote freak onto, Keedie finds the strength to tell everyone that Miss Murphy once used the same word about her. It's enough to make Murphy snap. Details
