A century before the events of "Game of Thrones," two unlikely heroes wander Westeros. In an adaption of George R. R. Martin's novella "The Hedge Knight," a young and naive but courageous knight, Ser Duncan the Tall, and his diminutive squire, Egg, face a series of dangerous exploits. Set in an age when the Targaryen line still holds the Iron Throne and images of the last dragon have not yet passed from living memory, great destinies and powerful foes await these improbable and incomparable friends.

a cash grab series that never goes anywhere. 6 episodes of a tourney. just episode after episode of this uneventful tourney so you can finally watch a battle in the last episode in which characters you barely know or care about die. the villain was a bland "evil targaryen" like any other. I'm sure it's lovely if you enjoy bald royal brat babysitting or middle school potty humor.

I absolutely loved this. I've always been a fan of Game of Thrones and The House of the Dragon, but dare I say I enjoyed this more than either of them. The humour added something extra and the fact that it was only a short series means that none of the story is dragged out. Fingers crossed for another series.

A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms is an absolutely beautiful series. The writing is exceptional, and I felt deeply connected to the characters from beginning to end. Their journeys are filled with heart, humor, loyalty, and courage, making the story both moving and memorable. A wonderfully written series that stayed with me long after I finished it.
