Irreverent and rampant in stereotypes but undeniably entertaining.

It's certainly silly and clever, which will be enough for some.

Audience Reviews for Black Dynamite: Season 1

One of the best things I've ever seen.... Can't wait for season 2... Explicit but hilarious. Fantastic style and a clever weaving of contemporary cultural icons with their 1970s selves. Black Dynamite is an extreme anti-hero hero, and the writers revel in his flawed awsomeness with a sly wink. Highly recommended but definitely not for kids.

Adult Swim's premiere season of the animated spinoff adaptation of Black Dynamite is funny, clever, well-voiced and nicely animated. It's the right amount of cheesy and action, building on the successful Blaxploitation formula of the original movie.

Enjoyable 1970's spoof show. If you liked the movie, you will like this show. If you have not seen the movie, you should.
