Capitani is a broken man, out of prison, stuck in the sleazy world of seedy Luxembourgish sex clubs, and knocked about by his female boss, his female ex-colleague Elsa, the female drug lord he now works for, his former lover, and even his estranged sister. Schilz at his best give off a strong Philip Marlowe drive, but this season he’s more of a beaten dog. Mousel was spirited and charming in season 1, but here she’has three moods—angry, frustrated, and angry/ frustrated. Both ought to be brought back in a better vehicle. Rest of the cast was solid, production values quite good. Would certain try a season 3, if one is made, but this is just too downbeat and dreary. See more Read all reviews
