Darwin T @RT99793665 Jul 12 I love this show! The castle is amazing, but the couple are the real draw for me. They are both great and very watchable. See more Kate E. @SunnyMurphy Jun 24 Daphne and Ian are earnest and thoughtful in their approach to tackling the many issues faced in restoring a historic property. One of the most impressive aspects of the show is their reuse and up-cycling of materials that are part of the estate already. While of course they must get some replacement materials, I don't see them relying heavily on America products or disrespecting local culture. In fact, it's quite the reverse, as they work with local craftspeople and vendors to remain as faithful to the region and to history as possible with a budget. While I wish HGTV had a lighter hand in storytelling and let them be more of themselves, as they are in their YouTube channel, the show is thoroughly enjoyable. I hope they continue the series with many more seasons. See more Meg D @RT86717515 Jun 20 My daughter and I absolutely fell in love with this show the castle and the charming couple and of course RAG. I want to see more of this castle renovation. I think we would watch until the entire Chateau is complete. They are funny and talented and make you want to see more. PAINFUL TO WATCH!!!! to see someone destroy history and put American crap furniture and HGTV syle designs and paint in this classic palace . France should force them to sell the place. This show is a JOKE!! There is NOTHING cool about trying to tear down walls in a place that has been there since before America was a country because the woman wants an HGTV open floor plan move to a MCMansion in the burbs in chicago then. You DONT BELONG IN FRANCE. You look like a fool destroying this Castle!!! See more Read all reviews
