Chuckie Chan, KO Joe and Chick P make up Chop Socky Chooks. The three friends are Kung Fu Chickens who live in Wasabi World and fight the monstrous Doctor Wasabi, who plans to take over the world. The trio works undercover using martial arts, spy gadgets and quick wits to protect Wasabi World from Doctor Wasabi, Bonsai Shrink Rays and Karaoke Zombies.

03/09/2022 An absurd show bordering on being "so bad, it's good", this collaboration between Canada and, of all companies, Aardman, during a more experimental phase of theirs when they went into CGI, has wonky character designs, unappealing animation and characters that aren't all that compelling but the fights are entertaining, the voice acting's okay and, once again, I did get a kick out of watching this show in an ironic manner. But Chop Socky Chooks is nowhere near as good or as memorable as Aardman's other chicken-themed entry in their filmography: Chicken Run. Guess that "The Great Escape with Chickens" is preferable over "Kung Fu Chickens". Seriously, the title is wittier than the show itself. For once, it felt called for that Cartoon Network threw this show under the bus once they realised it wasn't all that popular...even if it did Aardman's declining U.S. popularity no favours in the wake of their split from DreamWorks and Wallace & Gromit going into semi-retirement in the 2010's.
