Michelle Macabee just lost her dog of 15 years--Petra. The loss of her beloved pet has the 48-year-old woman quitting her customer service relations job at Amazon so she can figure herself out. Like many women her age, Michelle is experiencing menopause with the hot flashes, mood swings, and a feeling of disenchantment. But a brazen and curious young Hispanic man named Gus Borrego reminds Michelle of what it is like to feel alive. Episodes for "Conversations in L.A." are 15 minutes in length and are filmed in single shots so as to not disrupt the flow of the conversations.
