It's first episode, in particular, has a clever turnaround. Yet, overall, it lacks character development or the kind of depth one would expect from a one room drama. See more 05/31/2020 El valor de la palabra /////////////////// La serie Criminal parte de interesantes premisas formales: bloques de tres capítulos unitarios (formato casi en extinción salvo en las sitcoms), uno por país (Alemania, España, Francia y Reino Unido). Todos se sitúan en el mismo escenario: la sala de interrogatorios, la cabina tras el vidrio de la cámara Gesell y un pasillo/vestíbulo. Y todos transcurren en tiempo real. En la foto vemos a los dos protagonistas de Criminal Alemania (aún no vi los otros nueve episodios), que buscan resolver aspectos de un caso en cada uno de los tres capítulos. Él es el temperamental inspector Schulz (Sylvester Groth) y ella la fría inspectora Keller (una notable Eva Meckbach), quien además cumple funciones de auditoría en esa comisaría. Los casos tienen que ver con asesinatos de larga data o con violencia doméstica, cobrando protagonismo la problemática entre las dos Alemanias, las diferencias de clase o los alemanes de origen extranjero, por ejemplo. El director de los tres capítulos es nada menos que Oliver Hirschbiegel, quien dirigiera La caída, destacándose entre los interrogados la gran Nina Hoss (actriz fetiche de varias películas de Christian Petzold) y Peter Kurth.
