Eliot is 6 years old and, like many kids his age, has an overactive imagination. He can turn the most ordinary situation into something that resembles a blockbuster movie. His creations are often full of horror-movie staples: blood-thirsty vampires, man-eating plants and haunted houses. Some of the stories Eliot creates include finding an underwater monster in the city's new pool, visualizing an army of creatures lurking beneath the city, and deciding his visiting Aunt Margot is a witch who wants to transform his parents into poodles.
