This show offers an unextraordinary experience for martial arts anime fans. Garouden: The Way of the Lone Wolf features intense and well-choreographed fight scenes that are the major highlights of the series. Go to Full Review

It’s a great idea, based on an even greater manga series, that fizzles out with its staid animation, plodding story, and uninspired design. Go to Full Review

Exposition-heavy dialogue, sheepish line delivery, mediocre fight choreography, and TikTok filter-looking character designs make this a rough watch. Go to Full Review

While thrilling fight sequences are a dime a dozen in modern anime, few are grounded in the authentic martial art styles that have inspired many beloved works. Garouden: The Way of the Lone Wolf brings viewers back to that simplicity. Go to Full Review

This is an OK outing, but from a critical perspective, it’s just under par. The characters are interesting, and there are certainly wild ones of note. Go to Full Review

John B Oct 7 Its Really Good. But the ending was 👎 See more Cassie P Mar 6 Fully committed to beautifully representing the ideas of primal killing instinct and power, above all else. However, characters are shallow and do not develop. See more Mahmoud B Mar 4 If it’s only one season, wasn’t good. If there is a next season, then it’s worth the watch See more Albert B @Albert365 09/01/2024 I don't really like the premise that fujimaki is the main character now, and the whole plot is also really dumb, Fujimaki runs away after defending a lady from being assaulted? And why the hell does he go to jail? It was self defense!!! Also after all that hype he loses in the end. So he loses in his art, as well as in life 😂🤣🤣. This is worst than tomorrow's joe. See more 血液 x 07/18/2024 This is gonna be a quick review, loved the simple/ almost "on a budget" animation, loved the fights, THE END IS HORRIFYING. (HORRIBLE even the decision of letting the girl "cheat") See more Jacek O 05/31/2024 MY first toughts when i started watching: the animations are abit stiff, the art isnt looking amazing... And somehow, instead of watching 1 episode like I planned, i ended up binging the whole season one, couldnt stop. Looking back its a pretty classic take on a martial art Tv serie, but it worked well for me. First off, i think i really apreciated the more probable, down to earth fightings, compared to superhuman sillines seen in other shows like Baki (never finished that one) . Second i think the characters spoke to me, were more relatable then in other shows, and the story , tough not very original or complex, just worked for me, it engaged me. See more Read all reviews
