The search to find the greatest holiday baker begins as eight amateur bakers show off their family traditions and superb baking skills. To survive the challenges from week to week, they must prove their abilities in front of the tough-love judges. In the pre-heat -- the first of two rounds -- the bakers are tasked with creating pastries, cookies or small cakes based on the episode's theme. The winner of the round gets an advantage moving into the main heat, which involves making a larger confection. The winner then moves on to the next episode with the possibility of winning a cash prize and being crowned Holiday Baking Champion at the end.

12/10/2020 I am a huge fan of the show! Jason Smith made this season special and I would normally give this show 5 stars because of that. However, there are a lot of cringe-worthy moments. Clearly, most of the bakers looked down on him for not being a professional. Also, Patty was a little different but sweet. Still, Bobby and the judges were not very nice. Was something happening behind the scenes? Lastly, I have always felt that the best bakers don't automatically make it to the end. So when I say that Matt should not have made it so far, it is not a guesstimation of his abilities as a chef. It's more that he turned in several incomplete, often childish, dishes. It became more and more annoying each week to hear his current excuse. He also would lose it on camera, then put on a baby face and whine to the judges. See more 11/08/2019 I think they should get some other judges in there because they are rude and don't even know what they are talking about half the time. I don't know why they have to have the same three judges that suck every single episode. I mean REALLY?????????? See more Read all reviews
