Very gestural humor in a series that can be seen in less than 30 minutes. [Full review in Spanish] Go to Full Review

The cartoonish violence can be a bit much at times, but that's the Ice Age vibe, so fans of the movies shouldn't find anything too new here, except a new, gentler side of Scrat that's a treat to watch. Go to Full Review

I would watch an entire movie about Scrat. Go to Full Review

There are enough funny moments in Ice Age: Scrat Tales to make it worth the pretty brief time commitment, especially if you’re watching it with your kids. Go to Full Review

See more Logan R @RT90250223 04/01/2023 its legendary, when scrat and baby scrat have acorns. See more 04/29/2022 A much better unofficial 20th anniversary celebration of the Ice Age franchise than the terrible Buck Wild film, Scrat Tales has a few moments of not always being consistently funny but the great animation, the titular character's antics with an adorable Baby Scrat remaining hilarious and reminding us why the sabre-toothed squirrel was always the most consistent character in the franchise and even a surprisingly touching sendoff allow these six bite-sized adventures with this CGI character whom I'd take over the Minions in a heartbeat given the choice a chance to do something we never got with Nimona*; a chance to say goodbye to Blue Sky Studios. It was a fun run while it lasted and I always vouched for you as an underrated animation studio that was held back by its reputation as "the guys who only make Ice Age sequels and the occasional fluke such as Rio". Your movies might not have been perfect but I had fun watching most of them. Even the infamous Collision Course wasn't that much of an abomination of cinema in my eyes. Just wouldn't've stood out as much had it been retooled into an original IP. Of course, even I was groaning when a trailer for Ice Age 5 dropped but didn't expect it to get such dismal reviews. Otherwise, I'm glad we got closure with these six shorts and hope that the people who used to work there have managed to find new jobs elsewhere. Thanks for all the laughs, touching moments and visual creativity, Blue Sky Studios. *Yes, Nimona has been fortunately picked up by Netflix but that doesn't change the fact that it's going to be produced by a different company much like how Buck Wild was outsourced to a different animation studio. At least, I'm assured that Nimona will be of much better quality both visually and in its story than what I consider to be the worst animated film of 2022 so far. See more Read all reviews
