"Iron Chef Showdown" features two chefs who go head to head for the prestige of facing off against an Iron Chef. These are judged solely by Alton Brown, who has lent his cooking analysis to "Iron Chef" since it began airing in America in 2005. Each standalone episode features a competition that takes place in the brand new Kitchen Stadium and competitors have to create superior and unique dishes from a surprise secret ingredient. The Iron Chefs that winners could face include Bobby Flay, Jose Garces, Alex Guarnaschelli, Michael Symon and the newest one, Stephanie Izard.
