It takes a while to understand where Just One Look's story is going, and viewers may get distracted at several points to wonder exactly WHAT was the budget on "fake blood" for this series. Go to Full Review

Like most Harlan Coben thrillers on Netflix, Just One Look has enough twists and turns to keep viewers on the hook, especially given the fact that the total running time of the series is probably around four hours. Go to Full Review

Just One Look feels engineered with a watchmaker’s precision to do precisely what it needs to and nothing more. That kind of fat-free filmmaking will always prove popular, and usually for good reason. Just one look is all it needs. Go to Full Review

Alina D @RT77427827 Jul 14 First of all, don‘t watch it in English. This Must be dubbed by the first version EVER of ChatGPT. Accents oscillate between British and American, sentences are utterly unlikely any real communication. Like: ‘Can you pick up my kids too?’ ‘Yeah’ ‘Amazing’. Who says that? A Brit might say ‘ Excellent’. Anyone else might say ‘Great/ thank you’. But amazing? Nah. That was just an example. Other than that, Coben recipe: family. One partner disappears and things are not what they seem. Obstinate other partner risks their life to find them. Disappeared partner dies. Other partner regrets stuff from the past. Kids are always ok in the end. Friends have great skills with internet. Neighbors have somehow intertwined stories. Random old man chasing old wounds. At lest two police people, earnest and oddly partnered with each other. Add some gore. Now tape all that into AI, ask it to write a novel and you get Harlan Coben. Have not read any of the Myron Bolitar books, but having seen this series, I suddenly remember why I don’t read Coben’s books anymore. If you absolutely must watch one of his tv adaptations, I’d go with the British ones, or at least the others in OV with subtitles. Saves a couple of brain cells. See more LJ Schraner G @RT36589223 Jul 1 Full of suspense with no extra trimming rubbish. All the answers provided in the end which is not always the best outcome for a series, but this was an exception. Left me completely satisfied. Loved it! See more Raphael S @skooney Jun 17 It's a decent series worth watching if you aren't bothered by reading subtitles. I see it has a somewhat low rating. I would attribute that to people not being patient enough to read subtitles. It's as good as or better than the majority of "mystery suspense" I see in Netflix. See more Svala J @SJons 03/28/2025 Definitely watch this in the original Polish with subtitles. The dubbing is annoying and the characters sound way better and are more believable in Polish. It’s a bit long and the police seem a bit useless for the most part, but there are enough twists and turns to keep the viewer entertained. See more Martha M @McGuigs 03/20/2025 a little slow but good. See more Cheri W @RT02210058 03/19/2025 Absolutely horrible and a big waste of time. I have watched all of the Harlan Coben Netflix series and they were all great. This one was so boring. I kept hoping for it to get better. I watched until the end to see if the ending would have made it worth watching, but no. See more Read all reviews
