Mike is a young boy living in medieval times who has a bright future. The son of the king and queen of Glendragon, Mike is determined to follow in his father's footsteps and become a noble knight.The pint-sized knight-in-training is given missions to complete, which he attempts to do with the help of his friends, who include younger sister Evie, best friend Galahad and a pair of dragons, Sparkie and Squirt. Evie is a wizard-in-training who thinks magic is the solution to nearly every problem, Galahad is always there to help Mike regardless of whether or not he thinks Mike is on the right track, Sparkie is a laid-back fire-breathing dragon, and Squirt is a small water-breathing dragon who tends to stay close to Mike and Sparkie. With the help of his friends and his rallying cry, "be a knight, do it right," Mike discovers the power of responsibility and learns to do things the right way.
