To be fair, things were going suspiciously well for our dear Maxine, all things considered. So when things take a dive, literally even, on Palm Royale Season 2 Episode 3, “Maxine Solves a Murder,” it feels like balance is restored.

In hindsight, Palm Royale delivered one of its best-ever episodes last week, setting a high bar for Season 2, and it was very unlikely that Episode 3, "Maxine Solves a Murder", was going to clear it. You won’t be surprised to learn that it doesn’t, then.
