Rattlers in the heart of Texas are like alligators in the swamplands of Louisiana: They seem to be everywhere. "Rattlesnake Republic" documents, as Animal Planet says, "a little-known world where men hunt and capture the continent's most dangerous predator." The series follows the adventures -- both dangerous and lighthearted -- had by four teams of wranglers who make a living during rattlesnake season by tracking, catching and selling the deadly serpents.
