However, its excessive simplicity, very light humor, and being "the same old story"... keep it from being more than just okay. The characters have the charm that characterizes all of Akira Toriyama's works, but for me, none of them are on the level of the legendary ones from Dragon Ball. The type of humor is excessively childish for my taste, lacking that adult/perverted touch that characters like Master Roshi have. The worst part is knowing that it's a story that can never continue, at least not under the guidance of its true author. See you master in other life. It has a lot of heart. The art is so detailed. It's a mix of 2d and 3d without the limitations that used to entail. It is both completely original and invoking a slightly nostalgic feel.
