Rocky Kanaka, of a mission-driven dog food manufacturer devoted to giving back, travels the United States with renovation specialist Rob North to help animal shelters in need. Facilities in danger of closing are revitalized with the help of Rocky, Rob, community volunteers, local contractors, and industry experts. In addition to creating a happier and healthier environment at each animal shelter or rescue, the exposure and improvements to the facility also help increase the number of animal adoptions. At the end of each episode, at least one animal finds a loving, permanent home.
