The new “Scrubs” may not be essential TV in the way the original once felt at its cultural peak, but it’s thoughtful, frequently funny and occasionally disarming. Go to Full Review

In the Scrubs revival, though, all that look-at-me energy is finally restored to its rightful purpose, and the effect is delightful. These two are meant to be swaggily walking down hospital hallways together. Go to Full Review

If Scrubs can balance its comedic antics and character-based storytelling with a clear-eyed view of the industry it exists in and the impact it has on patients and healthcare professionals, maybe there’s something left to say. Go to Full Review

Despite the changing times and the 25 years since the original premiere, the series acclimates itself to a new era of television while building off the platform of silly sincerity it created for itself. Go to Full Review

Some key characters are missed, and their return is already being considered for a second season, but the truth is that the new additions fit perfectly into the universe created by Bill Lawrence...[Full review in Spanish] Go to Full Review

Some shows age with us. Scrubs didn't need to. Not everything needs a second act to justify the first. Go to Full Review

Jen K @RT32028416 13h The original was probably my all-time fav show (well, up to season 8;). I am still kicking myself for selling my DVDs, dang those music royalties I didn't know existed! I was dubious this reboot could elicit the same emotional response, the same laughter. But they had me at old man eagle. I do agree that they should stop apologizing for the past and constantly acknowledging how things have changed. These characters didn't suddenly wake up in the future, they would have adapted as time went on. Thank God Dr. Cox is still the same. Elliot could do with an appletini. But for the most part, it is still the delightful, hilarious escape it once was, with even more emotion for the nostalgia. The new HR rep, fab addition. I encourage, nay, beg ABC to renew season 2, and I hope that brings back Dr. Kelso, more crazy daydreams, and more of the amazing music that made the original series so outstanding. See more Toggo U @RT38232770 2d How exactly is this reboot getting so many good reviews? It's like a really sad version of the original series that, to add insult to injury, constantly apologizes for what made the original show so funny, by desperately trying to fit into today's cancel culture, yet ending up feeling sad and cringy instead. See more Dave R @MrDaveCR 2d I am an absolute fan of the original show! I have watched each episode countless of times. I related to JD and Turk in so many ways that the characters, and the men behind the characters helped me through a lot of tough times in loneliness, love amd friendship. I was really sad when it ended. But as soon as I heard that they were doing another series, it was like i was given a time machine and taken back to the good times! Its a shame that we all have to grow up and get old. But seeing the new show in all its glory, just like it was in the naughties, was magical. It was great seeing most of the original cast. Heartbreaking for the ones we have lost. I hope that we get another season. Or 8! And if they ever need an extra then hit me up!!! See more Kim B @RT86564524 4d I didn’t watch the OG Scrubs, so I didn’t know what to expect. I ended up really loving this show. Now I wish I had watched the original, so I’m watching it now 😆and also liking it, but admittedly not as much as the new one ☺️ It’s a silly fun and has a lot of heart. See more Waldo R @RT43907253 4d Loved the previous seasons and how well this latest season now continues. So beautifully written and played. Absolute feel good TV of which we should all take in more. See more Nickademus T @RT65787924 4d I have been a diehard Scrubs Fan since around Season 3. I got into it late. Then when it ended at Season 9 (yes, 9) I was sad, but always kept hope it would come back and be just as good as the original. My prayers were heard. It is equally as good, even without as many daydream scenarios. It is like being away from your hometown for 20 years, living your life, then moving back home and that one best friend just picks up with you where you left off, no friction, same vibe. And the final episode of the season, had me laughing, crying, cheering, and cursing....oftentimes all within 1 minute. And the very last minute, was a chef's kiss to what we as fans simply adore about this series. Thank you to all the cast, crew and fans that helped make this possible! See more Read all reviews
