Tween and teen foodies will love this entertaining cooking competition show. Secret Chef has the same light-hearted attitude as Nailed It, but it features contestants with actual culinary talent. Go to Full Review

We hope the execution of the “secret” part of Secret Chef is easier to follow as the number of contestants gets whittled down. Still, it’s a solid attempt at doing something different with the cooking competition genre. Go to Full Review

Despite taking a big leap, Secret Chef somehow stumbles backward into being a merely average cooking competition. It's not bad! The more I watched, though, the less enthused I became. Go to Full Review

Cheryl Q @RT38249647 May 7 Fun and unique cooking show. Do not like it when a competition show brings back an eliminated contestant. Not fair to those who continued and cooked several more dishes. A large payout for such a new show. Several other long running cooking and baking shows only pay out $25 or $50k See more Deena K @RT72456396 02/10/2024 Hulu, you had a good concept, but I believe the execution failed. Quirky by far! Strange outdated TV with a talking cartoon chef hat ... weird and sortof dumb!!! Why are all contestants wearing the same clothes throughout competition? Sortof gross. First challenge really seemed unfair, locking in a professional French chef with a home cook, totally mean, wrong, and unfair. Episode 7, seriously the only one who deserves a come back is th Anthony, the French chef, who was unfairly removed in the first episode. Sydney does not belong in the top four. Shame on this show kicking out Joshua. The twists and turns of rating was crazy. The surprise"chefs" they bring in, I've NEVER heard of, so they mean nothing to me!!!! Sorry Hulu....try better on picking a REAL Top Chef's to come in!!! Episode 8 - mixing 2 countries food cuisine together is called "Fusion". I'm guessing Hulu doesn't know that!!! It's NOT called "flavor migration"!!!! Seriously Hulu!!! That's sad. Episode 9 - Glad Sydney went home, she didn't belong in there to begin with. Kicked off, should never get an opportunity to come back!!! Lansky also got kicked off, he doesn't belong in finals. Mistake of weird show! Episode 10 - Another "alleged" professional chef, no one has heard of!!!! Whatever!!! So we find out this David chang person is responsible for all of the challenges.....FIRE HIM!!!!!! The first challenge was totally unfair, bringing in past losers to compete, again, totally unfair. This David guy is a huge loser himself!!!! He has zero ideas on proper challenges. What a loser!! The group are wearing different clothes, nice to see. Lanky did NOT deserve to win , I will NOT be watching any further stupid, unfair shows!!! Signing Out!!!! See more Sarah A @RT83312009 12/30/2023 Cheffy is a star. Super creepy little chef hat causing chaos. This show has a similar vibe as The Circle and I adore it. There's no way to describe it without spoilers. Not for everyone but give it a try. See more John Z @RT70668505 07/26/2023 This was a refreshing take on the now staid area of cooking shows and I look forward to seeing more of it. I hope they can maintain quality after such a strong first season. See more Chuck G @RT57568898 07/22/2023 Contestants eliminated should not be given 2 and, in some case, 3 chances to return to the game and make the final 4 eliminating the strongest competitor because he was such a good chef he was able to hide ingredients appropriately instead of putting a piece of fried cheese on his plate. Likewise, contestants who haven't won a single challenge in the show AND are already eliminated should not have an opinion on deciding the final 4. There is no merit in their critique. Will Joshua get 2 and 3 chances to get back in the game? Is the entire season filmed in one day? The contestants never change clothes. See more Anonymous A @RT19231770 07/22/2023 I just binged this and I loved it! It's not your ordinary cooking show. There's twists and turns that keep it interesting and keep you guessing the whole time so it doesn't get boring. You root for your favorite, but you just never know what can happen. I can't wait for season 2!! See more Read all reviews
