On top of that, there's hokey dialogue, poor pacing, incredibly cliched characters, and unbelievably bad action sequences... seriously, you get away from three gunmen by splashing into the ocean?? BTW, it was cancelled - deservedly - and never resolved the story so know that going in. See more Miguel L @RT93052702 Aug 10, 2026 A Harlan Coben story with elements that smack you in the face. Biggest of them all the fact that you have literal kids fighting grown, tough, men on a pretty regular basis. Including two teenage girls fist fighting an actual mobster, and a character who is a six-foot armed tank, sending a scrawny kid on a rescue mission into a human trafficking ring. Next to that, you can almost let slide the abnormal recurring obsession the main character has with a girl he met for a couple of hours. Some totally unbelievable occurrences in the script. I much prefer the UK adaptations to Harlan Coben’s work.
