Using powerful motorcycles that transform into flying vehicles, six teens -- Junko, Piper, Finn, Stork, Aerrow and Radarr -- defend the world of Atmos against the evil Cyclonia empire. Their youth tends to work against them, since few take them seriously, and they are too young to be official Sky Knights. Taking their name from the historical team that was betrayed and defeated by one of its own members in an earlier war with Cyclonia, the new team of Storm Hawks battles against the granddaughter of the original Master Cyclonis and her right-hand man, the Dark Ace, who betrayed the original Storm Hawks a decade earlier.
