Absolutely criminal that this never got another series. Genuinely original and chilling stuff from the BBC, featuring some "before they were famous" names that went on to bigger things including Iain De Caestecker (Agents of Shield), Daniel Kaluuya ( Get Out, Black Panther), Tom Ellis (Lucifer) and Natalie Dormer (Game of Thrones, The Tudors).

I found this show predictable and at times boring. The character of Paul became annoying and I could not get behind him. The storylines felt rushed and not well thought out. Some of the actors that where used to play teenagers appear too old for that. It did not do a good job of telling an origin to the angelics vs fades or even a back story.

3.5/5 It's really great until the 6th/last episode. Probably due to being canceled, a lot of things are finished up badly and then your left with the obvious tie in to another season which never happened. Oh well, it was still a good TV show.
