Soon enough it will just be Joan Vassos surrounded by some empty golf shirts and no-show socks. Go to Full Review

Indeed, The Golden Bachelorette still delivers what franchise fans are looking for. Go to Full Review

A down-to-earth bachelorette and respectful (to her and each other) contestants are going to make The Golden Bachelorette a little more dull than the usual Bachelor goings-on, but you won’t have to take a shower after watching an episode. Go to Full Review

Nancy D @RT85518344 Jun 29 I have watched a few seasons of Bachelor/Bachelorette when in the mood for low focus, trash binging and have just now watched the first season of Golden Bachelorette. WOW – two COMPLETELY different realms of reality. This experience dramatically drove home the difference between people in their sixties and seventies and people in their twenties and thirties. Weʻre talking shallow vs. deep, rude (sometimes bordering on back-stabbing) vs. respectful, competitive vs. mutually supportive, self-absorbed vs. empathic, petty vs. significant, unwise vs. evolved, pathetically insecure vs. self assured – OK, I think you get my point. Yes, a certain lack of understanding is to be expected among the younger generations but watchin the Golden Bachelorette made me sigh with relief that Iʻve made it to my seventies and I was moved and inspired by the dignity, love and grace with how the cast of this program (except for Pascal) conducted themselves in contrast to the gross, embarassing behavior of the previous seasons I watched withthe younger participants. The old cliche is really true: “You get old too soon and smart too late.” Having said that , I was disappointed that Joan chose Chock who was my least favorite gentleman because he seemed the most terretorial, glommy (overly eager/pushy) and insecure. I would have picked Jonathan or Guy. See more DMC M @Dee1957 10/14/2024 This is a little like watching paint dry. I don't believe these men who are gushing constantly over this woman, it's like they've been drugged or hypnotized. However, these guys are all besties, which is a far cry from the bachelor shows where the women are all catty and scrapping, embarrassing themselves constantly. I think I'd like this show better without the bachelorette, just watch the guys. lol. See more Read all reviews
