A prolific television director, Andrew D. Weyman has been working since the 1950s. His career took off in 1980, when he won an Emmy for the soap opera "Texas" (also known as "Another World: Texas"). He followed his win with stints directing the soap opera "Santa Barbara" and the family comedy "My Two Dads," the latter starring Paul Reiser and Greg Evigan. In 1991 Weyman began a two-year stint directing long-running sitcom "Roseanne." One of the biggest family comedy series of the '90s, "Roseanne" was a springboard for Weyman's career, propelling him into the first rank of television sitcom directors. After leaving the show he began directing sitcoms of varying quality, including the critically acclaimed hit "Ellen" and the short-lived star vehicles "Cybill" and "Bette." Weyman also directed several episodes of the hit sitcoms "Still Standing" and "Two and a Half Men." In 2010 he began directing "Accidentally on Purpose," starring Jenna Elfman and co-created by "Two and a Half Men" mastermind Chuck Lorre.
