Actress Ann Lancaster was widely known for her presence on the silver screen. Lancaster's early acting career consisted of roles in various films, such as "The Magic Box" (1951), the crime flick "The Secret People" (1952) with Valentina Cortese and the Shirley Jones comedy "The Secret of My Success" (1965). She also appeared in "Fathom" (1967). She continued to work steadily in film throughout the sixties, appearing in "Hot Millions" (1968), the Nicol Williamson dramatic adaptation "Inadmissible Evidence" (1968) and "A Nice Girl Like Me" (1969) with Barbara Ferris. Toward the end of her career, she tackled roles in the comedy "Carry on Again, Doctor" (1969) with Kenneth Williams and "Till Death Do Us Part" (1969). Lancaster more recently acted in the drama "The Railway Children" (1970) with Dinah Sheridan.
