Led Lincoln High School to a 40-0 record and the Texas state title in his senior year; he took the school to a 30-3 season and the state semifinals in his junior year. Graduated high school with honors and was admitted to the National Society of Black Engineers, the Dallas Association of Minority Engineers, the National Honor Society and the A-B Honor Roll. Played baseball as a high-school sophomore. Selected fourth overall in the 2003 NBA draft by the Toronto Raptors. Nicknamed CB4 by Raptors announcer Chuck Swirsky. On July 9, 2010, completed a six-year sign-and-trade deal with the Raptors, which formed a triumvirate with fellow 2003 Top 5 picks Dwyane Wade (No. 5) and LeBron James (No. 1) in Miami. The Heat sent two first-round picks to Toronto for Bosh.
