      Harry Gold was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. He also appeared in the TV movie "The Death of Richie" (NBC, 1976-77). He had an early role on the television special "Off the Wall" (NBC, 1976-77). Gold began his entertainment career acting in films like "Carrie" (1976). He also appeared in the TV special "But Mother!" (NBC, 1978-79). Following that project, he acted on the silver screen, including roles in the comedy "The World's Greatest Lover" (1977) with Gene Wilder and the musical "Thank God It's Friday" (1978) with Valerie Landsburg. He also worked in television around this time, including a part on "The Harvey Korman Show" (ABC, 1977-78). He also was featured in the TV movie "The Gift" (CBS, 1979-1980). Most recently, Gold worked on "Chasing Farrah" (TV Land, 2004-05).
