John O'Malley was a big screen film actor known for powerful performances. O'Malley's early acting career consisted of roles in various films, such as the remake "Kind Lady" (1951) with Ethel Barrymore, the Marlon Brando dramatic adaptation "Julius Caesar" (1953) and the drama "The Desert Rats" (1953) with Richard Burton. He also appeared in "The Scarlet Coat" (1955) and the dramatic period piece "Diane" (1956) with Pedro Armendariz. He kept working in film throughout the fifties and the nineties, starring in "The Court Jester" (1956) with Danny Kaye, the thrilling adaptation "The Man Who Knew Too Much" (1956) with James Stewart and "The Invisible Boy" (1957) with Richard Eyer. In the nineties, O'Malley lent his talents to projects like "Chain Reaction" (1996) starring Keanu Reeves, "Home Alone 3" (1997) and "The Vatican Revealed" (1998-99). His credits also expanded to "Light It Up" with Usher (1999). O'Malley most recently worked on the Zachary David Cope suspenseful adaptation "Stir of Echoes" (1999).
