Jule Gartzke
As a child, the favorite pastimes of German actress Jule Gartzke were horseback riding and dance in all its forms. After graduating from high school, she pursued the latter with a disciplined passion, training at the Folkwang Academy. From there, she expanded her skill set, taking classes in acting technique, singing and even pantomime. It was around this time that Gartzke first took the stage professionally. All of her hard work and training paid off as she fearlessly took to stages in theaters across Germany, even making appearances in England. In 2000, the gifted actress tried her hand at television, making her debut in the dramatic made-for-TV movie "Mein Bruder, der Idiot." Since then, she has proved prolific, having already performed in more than 25 television productions. In 2001, she scored a guest role in the long-running crime drama "Die Wache," which has turned out to be the first in a long list one-off appearances on crime-centered dramas, in addition to " SOKO Leipzig," " Der Bulle von Tölz" and "Wilsberg." However, while Gartzke has become a recurring presence on German television, she continues to balance onscreen roles with regular appearances in theatrical productions like 2008's dance extravaganza "Marigold."
