Lawrence Broch
Lawrence Broch is a well-known television writer and producer of such critically acclaimed shows as "Boston Legal" and "Roseanne." Broch earned his first writing credit on the short-lived 1992 series "The Jackie Thomas Show," and the following year joined the writing staff of the primetime family drama "Roseanne." From 1995 to 1997 he produced over 45 episodes of the award-winning series and served as story editor. After leaving the show in 1997, Broch wrote and produced several episodes of the controversial series "Ellen," which starred comedienne Ellen DeGeneres as a lesbian book store owner struggling with friends and family. Broch worked briefly on "The George Lopez Show" before becoming a staff writer and producer on the David E. Kelley series "Boston Legal" in 2005. During his tenure on the show, Broch wrote over a dozen episodes and served as executive producer during the last season of the highly-rated series.
