Richard Walsh found incredible success as an accomplished actor, appearing in a variety of films throughout his Hollywood career. Walsh's early acting career consisted of roles in various films, such as the dramatic adaptation "Humoresque" (1946) with Joan Crawford, the mystery "Dark Passage" (1947) with Humphrey Bogart and the drama "Johnny Belinda" (1948) with Jane Wyman. He also appeared in the Virginia Mayo crime flick "Smart Girls Don't Talk" (1948). His film career continued throughout the fifties and the eighties in productions like the John Wayne action picture "Island in the Sky" (1953), the Tyrone Power biopic "The Eddy Duchin Story" (1956) and the dramatic adaptation "Fate Is the Hunter" (1964) with Glenn Ford. He also appeared in "Running Hot" (1984) with Monica Carrico. In the eighties through the early 2000s, Walsh lent his talents to projects like "Bellman and True" with Bernard Hill (1988), "Mario and the Mob" (ABC, 1991-92) and "The Watcher" with James Spader (2000). His credits also expanded to the Mike Myers and Eddie Murphy hit "Shrek" (2001)Most recently, Walsh appeared on "Save My Life: Boston Trauma" (ABC, 2014-15).
