Throughout her entertainment career as an accomplished actress, Sara Taft graced the silver screen many times. In the early stages of her acting career, Taft was featured in films like the Stuart Whitman film "The Story of Ruth" (1960). She kept working in film throughout the sixties, starring in the Troy Donahue dramatic adaptation "Parrish" (1961), "Tower of London" (1962) and the comedy "Donovan's Reef" (1963) with John Wayne. In the latter part of her career, she tackled roles in the fantastical comedy "Blackbeard's Ghost" (1968) with Peter Ustinov, the Richard Widmark adaptation "Death of a Gunfighter" (1969) and the Steve McQueen dramatic adaptation "The Reivers" (1969). Taft last acted in "The Mechanic" (1972). Taft passed away in September 1973 at the age of 80.
