Anderson O @Platinum2027 10/12/2024 The Defenders of the Earth, to be frank, would make a great Live action adaptation in my opinion. I’ve thought about that for quite a few years based on seeing The Story Begins and The Book Of Mysteries. It’s dated for its time. But I see the nostalgia aspect of why kids that were 70’s Babies and raise through the 80’s loved it. See more Chris M @RT21954632 03/11/2024 It's a typical 80s cartoon, dumbing it down to the kids. Ice Robots and Robot ships along with taking the Phantom's gun away, because it's easier to pretend guns and death doesn't exist. Then to teach kids that death comes to us all and gun safety. Which is strange as they sorta kill Dale off. As her body dies and her soul is in a crystal and she comes the computer. Some will be offended they friged Dale Arden to make her a super computer. Yeah, they kill off the only female adult character to make her a computer. But I got to admit they did replace Phantom's guns for tiger powers, which is cool but Tigers don't live in Africa. So, not sure why not the power of 10 lions. They're stronger than tigers. But overall, it's a cool if ultimately flawed kids show with impressive animation style. See more Read all reviews
